Online Meditation Classes

What to expect

Cultivating a regular meditation practice can help you to manage stress and reactivity, anxiety and depression, increase your mental clarity and responsiveness and bring in calm and inner peace.


Meditating in a group setting has the additional benefits of helping to develop a habit, the opportunity to obtain feedback and support from an experienced teacher, and to have an enhanced experience due to the ripple effect of the group energy.


Each week, the group is guided to gently move and settle in, breathe to calm the nervous system, be guided through a mindfulness practice, and then offer Metta to themselves and the Earth. Sessions are accompanied by plant music made with PlantWave.

 

Classes are delivered live on Zoom and are quite casual. Some people come every week, some people drop in from time to time. Contact us to be added to the WhatsApp group.


Cost to attend is your choice. You can:

  • Pay by donation ($15/class is average).
  • Pay-it-Forward (Pay for yourself and for someone else who may not be able to pay).
  • Simply say, "Thank you".
  • Offer a service-swap.
  • Bring me some Bonsoy or Vego spread.
  • Buy me lunch or a Chai/coffee.
  • Or something else - your choice!


Additional information

When you book, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Meditation and sharing of experiences can be deeply personal and vulnerable. As such, it is expected that you respect the boundaries and confidentiality of others, and do not try to ‘fix’ people.
  • Everything is presented as an invitation which you can either accept or decline, without fear of judgement.
